A
white cloud then appeared inexplicably and covered him and took him away
saying:
"O
animals on the face of the earth, fishes in the seas, and the trees remember
the name of this child (Muhammad) (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) and recognise
him well. He has combined in himself all the wonderful and good qualities that
were in all the prophets that have come on earth from Adam to Jesus." When
the cloud returned and replaced the child, he was clothed in Green silk.

Askia Fil Ahwal Ul Ambia,Vol.II, page 13]
Abu
Nu’aym reports from Abdullah bin Abbas ( رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ ) who narrated that the mother of the
Apostle (صلى
الله عليه و آله وسلم), Sayyidah Amina (رضئ الله تعالى عنها) used to state :
(When
the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) was born, he fell straight into prostration.
Then
I saw a white cloud from the sky appearing and covering the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه و آله
وسلم)
such that he disappeared from me.
When
the cloud appeared, I saw that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) was covered in a
white woolly shawl and there was a green mat spread on the floor.
Within
the hands of the Apostle (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) there were three keys made of diamonds
and there was an unseen voice heard saying, ‘The Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه و آله
وسلم)
has grasped the key of giving victory, the key of giving benefit and the key of
Prophet-hood.’
Then
I saw another cloud which enclosed the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه و آله
وسلم)
such that he disappeared from my view and it became illuminated.
I
saw that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) is holding a
folded piece of green silk in his blessed hands and an unseen voice was heard
was saying, ‘How great! How great!
The Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) has grasped the
all worlds; all the creation has entered into his grasp, with none left out.’”

never have to burn a lamp at night, since the Light (Noor) of the Prophet(s) brightened
her entire home.
She also
states that when she suckled Rasoolullah , then He(s) would only take milk from
the right breast and not from the left, leaving this, for Bibi Halima’s
son(radi Allahu anhum).
He(s) in
turn would abstain from drinking from the left, and would never drink milk
before Rasoolullah .
She
further states that the Prophet(s) was always pure and clean as a child. He
never messed the bedding with passing urine or stool. Whenever he would need to
answer to the call of nature, he showed a sign and would then do so.
She says
that she never needed to rinse his blessed mouth or clean him, as she would
only make the intention and she would find that this was already done.
Bibi Halima(RA) says that the Prophet(s) grew very swiftly and his progress was completely different from any other child. He(s) grew in a day, what other children grew in a month and in a month; He(s) grew what other children would grow in a year.

At 3 months, He(s) began to stand.
At 4 months, He(s)walked holding the wall and at 5 months He(s) walked and talked very well.
In his first stages, the first words He(s) said were:

Bibi
Halima(RA) states that when Rasoolullah was ten months old, He(s) could fire an
arrow from a bow.
Whenever children called him to play, he would reply by saying:
“Almighty Allah did not create me to play.”
The Prophet(s) always took anything with his right hand by saying: Bismillah hir Rahmaannir Raheem. [Rauzatun Naeem]

Bibi

into a jungle and made Dua by saying, ‘O
Allah bestow rain upon us through this child.’
Immediately the clouds began to gather, and it began to rain very hard. It was as if someone had opened the cork of a water bottle.”

Bibi
Halima(RA) was blessed in many ways whilst the Prophet(s) was with her. This
continued even until the incident of Shakus Sadr (The splitting of the Holy
Chest) occurred.
Once Bibi
Halima’s son rushed home to tell his mother that he saw three very bright
people dressed in white clothing lay Muhammad(s) down on the ground and split
open his chest. He said, “I left them in
that condition and came to call you to assist.”
Bibi
Halima(RA) and her husband became alarmed and rushed to the spot where their
livestock were grazing. They reached there to find that Rasoolullah sitting

Bibi
Halima(RA) spoke to him very gently and asked him what had happened?
The
Prophet(s) said, “Three people, very bright and
dressed in white appeared. They lay me down and then split open my chest. They then removed something and put in
something and then sealed my chest, and in all that time, I did not even feel
the slightest pain.”
After
this incident,
Bibi
Halima(RA) watched the Prophet(s) very closely.
When the
Prophet(s) was two years old, He(s) was very healthy and he was not being
suckled any more.

How Many Times Was The Chest Split Open?
Shaykh Shah Abdul Aziz Muhadith
Dehlwi (RA) wrote
in the Tafseer of Surah Alam Nashrah, that the Blessed
chest of the Prophet(s) was split open
four times.
The first time was when the Prophet(s) was at the home of Bibi Halima , the
wisdom of this was to purify him of the thoughts that children have of playing
and being mischievous.
The second time was when Rasoolullahwas 10 years old. This was so that he may
become fearless of the general fears during ones youth.
The third time was in the Cave
of Hira , when a majestic
light was placed into his heart, so that he may be able to withstand the revelation
from the Court of Almighty Allah.
The fourth time was during the Journey of Me’raj. On this occasion, the heart
was adorned with the light of wisdom. This was done so that he(s) may be able
to make Deedar (see) Almighty Allah and converse with his Creator. [Madarijun
Nabuiwat - Seeratul Mustafa]

From
the Manuscript of a Sirah work authored by the notable Hanbali scholar Shaykh
Mari bin Yusuf al-Karmi:
Translation:
“And
in reality the daughters of Adam have not given birth to anyone more handsome
and beautiful than him. As if He (Upon
him be peace) was created as he wished.
May Allah reward the one who said: “My eye has not seen anyone more
handsome than you, No woman has given birth to anyone as beautiful as you, You
were created free of any blemish, As if you were created as you wished.”

The Early Years - Clements Way: The Days of Banū Sa’d
Halimah al-Sa‘diyah(ra) (Halimah bint Abi Dhuayb) from Banu Saad tribe
...It was on this occasion when an old lady, in her 60’s,
appeared from among the captives and claimed that she was the sister of Prophet
Muhammad (peace be upon him). She was taken to him with high esteem.
She told
him, “O, messenger of Allah, I am Shaima, your foster sister, daughter of Abu
Kabsha and Halima Saadia bint Zuwaib.” The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him)
welcomed her and spread his shawl and asked her to sit near him.
She told that
when you were young you had a bite on my shoulder, which is still a scar on my
body. The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) recognized that and the tears rolled
down upon his cheeks remembering those olden days.
Shaima embraced Islam and
consented to go back to her tribe. The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) gave a
maid, a few camels and goats as gift and she returned to her tribe happily.
